Name: Michael Wayne Bishop   Date: September 21st, 1950 - January 24th, 2007     Obituary: Michael Wayne Bishop, 56, of Beloit, WI, left this earth on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 to attend a party with Jim Morrison, Janice Joplin and Jimmie Hendrix. He was born September 21, 1950 in Lawrenceburg, TN, the son of Luther A. and Marie Moore Bishop. Michael was a Vietnam veteran serving with the U.S. Army 11th Armored Calvary. He married Barbara J. Stebbins on June 30, 1973 in Beloit, WI. Michael was employed by Price Brothers for 29 years, retiring in April of 2005. Most recently, he was enjoying his part-time job at Dr. Detail. Michael was a lifetime member of the Black Horse Association. His biggest regret will be missing the Colts win the Super Bowl. Survivors include his wife, Barb Bishop of Beloit, WI; two daughters, April (Michael) Ellery of Milwaukee, WI, and Jessi Bishop of Beloit, WI; granddaughter, Chloe Ellery; father and step mother, Luther and Josephine Bishop of Rockton, IL; sister, Lisa (Fred) Kopp South Beloit, IL; devoted dog and love of his life, Kit; and a slightly used Harley Davidson. He was predeceased by his mother, one brother, Delbert Bishop, his beloved dog, Cody and some not so beloved cats.
